Welcon receives Special Recognition from Vestas

Welcon has been awarded the Special Recognition Award at the Vestas Supplier Awards 2026.

The award was officially presented on 14 April 2026 at the Vestas Supplier Forum in Aarhus, where Jens Pedersen, Lasse Meyer and Johnny Skov were present.

Vestas specifically highlights Welcon's efforts during the demanding ramp-up phase of the V236 platform, where Welcon – despite multiple design changes throughout production – maintained high quality standards, a strong focus on safety, and consistently met delivery commitments. It is precisely this combination of flexibility, reliability, and dedication to collaboration that has been recognised by Vestas.
