Press Conference at Welcon A/S

On October 31, 2025, Welcon A/S had the pleasure of hosting the press conference announcing the expansion of the main road between Brande, Give, and the Port of Esbjerg – a route where special transports currently face challenges navigating intersections, buildings, and power lines.

A total of DKK 250 million has been allocated to upgrade the road network. The expansion is of great importance to local companies and the thousands of jobs in the area. It will future-proof the infrastructure and create better conditions for the transport of large components used, among other things, in the green energy sector.

We would like to thank Minister for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs Morten Bødskov, Minister for Transport Thomas Danielsen, Member of Parliament Henrik Frandsen, as well as the participating mayors and representatives for joining us on this important day for local employment and for strengthening Denmark’s ability to attract and retain investment and jobs.
